If you live in Texas, strive to get in with the top 10% rule (or is it 25% now?), and even if you dont make top 10 or 25 percent, being close will definitly get you in. We have a big campus so we have plenty of room for new students. Score well on your SAT,GPA, and have at least one or two extra curricular activities in high school and you should be fine.
